PB Consult active on the DEPOMM board
Our colleague Jens Lauterbach (in front right) was elected as a board member of the German Platform for Mobility Management e.V. (DEPOMM) in November 2023. DEPOMM has been campaigning for more mobility management in local authorities since it was founded in 2014. It is the only organisation in Germany that pursues this goal at federal and state level. The successful model of the Future Mobility Network NRW, which implements holistic mobility planning and design in its member municipalities, shows what this can look like in practice. DEPOMM wants to establish these "future networks" in other federal states as well. This approach is intended to bring about a lasting change in people's mobility behaviour. In order to be closer to the political processes as an interest group, a separate office was opened in Berlin in spring 2021.
