In order to fulfil the value proposition given, meanwhile many construction tasks for public transport are executed during ongoing operation. Due to the conflicts of interest caused by this, the aim of operational coordination is to balance the requirements of the construction activities and of continuous operation to ensure smooth execution. This includes the setting-up of backup stops or stations, the coordination of traffic diversions, extensive passenger information, organisation of shutdowns or the application of operational regulations during the execution of the construction activities.
