Information stand on the cycling concept in Fürth very well received

On 22 March 2022, our colleagues were on site for the citizens in the city centre of Fürth with an information stand on the cycling concept from 14:00 to 18:00. Here, people had the opportunity to inform themselves about the current state of planning and to share their personal everyday experiences with cycling. Important information on weak points and deficiencies in the cycling network could be collected on a map and suggestions and proposals for improvement from the discussions could be taken up for the continuation of the planning process.
We would like to thank the many visitors who took the time to stop by our information stand that afternoon. And of course we would also like to thank you for the many important tips and suggestions, which we will incorporate into the planning of the cycling concept for the city of Fürth.
The positive response to our information stand shows how important direct exchange with citizens is for urban and transport planning. We will also try to offer this and similar participation formats again for future projects.
