In line with the requirements of the cooperation agreements regarding revenue distribution in traffic systems, traffic surveys to establish the appropriate revenue allocations should be performed. Among other regulations, this is based on the German standard „Tarifverband der Bundeseigenen und Nichtbundeneigenen Eisenbahnen“. Additionally, traffic surveys are required to determine the revenue targets if transport operators can agree on common pricing models.
