New constructions, conversions and operational changes such as increases of the number of employees or the creation of parking spaces can impact both the attracted and the generated traffic. In many cases, evidence as to how the additional traffic will impact the surrounding street network must be provided prior to the construction activities.

We calculate the new target and source traffic and provide proof of the capacities of the relevant nodes – both for the current and the future state.

For complex situations, we create a microscopic traffic model that enables a detailed comparison of the prior and subsequent states. Additionally, this kind of visualisation can be used for the presentation of the results to non-expert audiences. In case of a traffic network overload at the affected nodes, we can assist you with the development of appropriate measures such as the creation of custom traffic signal facilities.
