T-Store Nuremberg Train Station

At the Nuremberg station square, in the middle of the tram turning loop , a T-Store (ticket store) of the VAG is built under the existing under the existing roof of the subway. The T-Store includes a day café with integrated ticket sales as well as a break room for VAG staff. PB CONSULT was commissioned to undertake the project management and monitoring.

Due to the prominent location in the city, several investigations and coordination with the City of Nuremberg’s Construction Advisory Council took place in advance. The local conditions and the structure required extensive coordination with the authorised planners and competent authorities, taking into account numerous technical and design requirements. Furthermore, the preparation and control of a cost and schedule plan as well as coordination with the Café operator.

In the course of the new building, a redesign of the existing soffit including a new lighting concept as well as a static strengthening will take place.
