Municipality of Bad Wiessee commissions mobility survey

The municipality of Bad Wiessee, located on Lake Tegernsee, has been a member of the “Arbeitsgemeinschaft fahrradfreundliche Kommunen in Bayern e.V.” (AGFK) since 2020 and is pursuing the goal of further improving the conditions for the bicycle as a means of transport. By commissioning PB CONSULT to conduct a mobility survey in spring 2023, the municipality will gain first valid insights into the current mobility situation and especially into bicycle use.

All residents of Bad Wiessee will be contacted as part of the modal split survey. Participation in the survey will be possible in writing by post as well as online or by telephone. In order to cover the bicycle-specific questions, the survey design of the mobility survey will be adapted to the requirements of the AGFK, which has already been used by us in a number of cities and municipalities in recent years.

The upcoming mobility survey is the second survey conducted by PB CONSULT in the district of Miesbach. In 2020, the inhabitants of Holzkirchen, also a member of the AGFK Bavaria, were asked about their mobility behaviour. A comparable mobility survey has also just been successfully completed in nearby Rosenheim.
